Night Light Set Up

Aside from the obvious light bar, what other lights do you guys run?
 
Maybe I'm boring, I prefer just a lightbar. Never had an issue or felt I needed more.
 
On the new one I'm putting a 40" S8 lightbar, a pair of S1 pods on the mirrors, squadrons on front bumper, and will eventually change out the stock headlights for the 6xS1 replacement kit.
 
lightbars are the worst for night duning unless you are the leader. A good set of low forward lights and some A pillar or mirror lights to see to your side is what you need to see in the night time dust. Extra points for amber lens too.

Agree Mega good for leaders as I get called out to do sometimes lol. Nothing like getting lit up from the back but following with a lightbar is nearly unusable cause all you see is dust. Im looking for better forward lights cause OEM suck.

I use a pair of XL80's on the front bumper, a pair of Squadron Pros on the A pillars, and another pair of Squadron Pros under the fenders pointed at an outward angle (brackets by Mega). This works really well. I alternate between amber covers or clear lenses based on the conditions. When it's really dusty, the A pillar lights will cause some glare, so I can imagine a light bar would suck for that.

Pair of LP4’s(low current draw and a wide beam) at the a pillars and an onx6 on the bumper and call it a day. Roof light bars if you have to have one, s8 is plenty for a Sxs. Featured below is an example of overkill but to be fair, they were given to me so I asked for the whole enchilada of lights

Last season I ran a pair of BD lights on the a pillars, Rigid hood and bumper amber light bars. It worked really well in the dust of following but sucked for leading.

This season I added a couple KC lights on an actuated bar to the roof and removed the hood amber light since I added a TNT hood scoop. Time will tell if the roof bar is worth it or not.

adjustable more for going downhill and uphill lighting. Don't always lead, but I'm sure i can light up the way from the rear. Or until everyone is soo pissed I'm blinding them from their mirrors they move the eff out of the way. lol

Just get a pair of XL80s on the a-pillar and a pair for the front bumper. You can get away from Squadron Pros on the a-pillar. The Baja Design replacement headlights are just okay.

Lights:

I like 2 lights pointed 45* out so I can see the turn or the dune before I commit (when leading).

Keep in mind that whatever you pick, get something balanced. Making DAYLIGHT 6' away, or shining light directly on your tires, will slaughter any night vision you have. Balanced and even is the key to visibility. Adjust your lights to avoid hotspots, turn down brightness on the dash, cut reflected light as much as possible, and you'll be amazed at how much more you can see.
 
triple r lights seem to be the new rage. i had a guy toss me one and that thing was like a tissue box, so light weight
