Im guessing that is because Nu-Solini wants to be able to say "I didn't do that, the "DoPH did that"", when re-election time comes back around.

The number I heard was 83% vaxxed in SF.

 
Went to the gym this am. Typically 80 / 20 masked. Today only one or two people had a mask on. 

Went to starbuck's after the gym and there were zero masks.

Went to target on the way to work and it was 50 / 50. I was not approached by anyone to put a mask on. Upon leaving the cart gal mumbled something at me but I didn't stop to listen to her.

Hopefully this trend continues.

I do think this trend will continue outside of LA and SD counties.  This two counties ride on the Newscum train.

Just walked into Del Taco...no mask, didn't think a thing of it!

I look around and everyone inside at tables weren't wearing a mask. I know, you can't eat while wearing a mask, but the point is they weren't all eating, some were talking or looking at me with that dumb look on their face like I should have a mask on, but......................... :bugsy:

Got into Lowes and Home Depot, nobody said anything. The guy at the door at Costco made me take one and said I had to have it while shopping, I took it, kept walking and never put it on, no one else said anything. The security guard at Wells Fargo wouldn't let me in unless I had a mask. Put the stupid thing on, completed my transaction and immediately took it off.

Depends what city in San Diego...mayors in most of the east county cities are stating that won't be enforcing it.  The farther east of the 15 you get, the less newscumy it is.

I choose not to participate. Have worn a mask maybe 12-15 times total since this whole thing started. No more than a few minutes each time. No vaccine. Haven't felt sick. Been tested once the whole time cuz I had to have surgery. Had more work than ever before. In a different state every other day. Completely unaffected by all the BS. Just keep leaving me out of it and I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.

At the gym right now, LA fitness in Huntington Beach. You need a mask to get passed the front desk but only about 10% of people are wearing a mask while working out.

Part of it probably because those people are more serious about other factors for infection spread.

The majority of it, however, is the fact that this comes and goes in waves that have been completely unpredictable regardless of vaccination or masks...

I had seen this thread. Went to tractor supply and said i think we might need masks. No worries there. 

Then to the glorious Bed Bath and Beyond. Said the same thing. Should have predicted better. Always park far away too. Felt bad for the checker girl who was on watch. We came back with masks and some grumpy face lady was standing in line without one. I wonder if she said no and the workers were just like ok then lady. She looked like a woman you dont want to eff with.

or the fact that many of those people already had it when it went around before and their rates were much higher?

The scary part is most of the businesses have no choice...the fines from Azzhole newsome are so severe for businesses that it would  literally put them out of business for good.  I feel for the business owners..... 

I did find an Aftco sun mask that "is" a mask.....but you can breathe thru it.... in case we have no choice and have to in to a business.

My buddy has one of those!  He purposes faces the holes to the front to see if anyone will ever say anything to him.  Hasn't happen yet!

 
sorry this is so long, but it’s from my own experiences working face to face with this virus since the beginning.

“Feel” how you want about all of this… as someone who has been working and treating people with the Rona since it began, I made a conscious choice from the beginning of all the misinformation to make judgements for myself and based on what I was seeing FIRST HAND. Nothing I saw the whole time worries me for me or my family…. There were definitely those that have high risk factors and should be very careful. Kids totally fine…. To date still under 800 fatalities in the entire country from 0-17 years old. Horrible for those that have lost children, it’s a pain no parent should have to endure. There are far more deadly things to kids than COVID…. Should be the least of a parents concern. I have seen those that are the MOST careful here COVID and then left to wonder how when they haven’t gone anywhere . And then when they survive it, they wonder why they were freaked out. I’ve seen a couple that were a surprised they got as sick as they did. Most of the patients were simply telling them to relax and keep their heads up…. The vast majority of people handled the virus very well. Now when it comes to vaccine….. again, just speaking from what I myself have witnessed . My wife and I had COVID before the vaccine was available and it wasn’t bad at all for us…. Even had the new Jimmy Neutron variant, super mild. I caved in early and got the vaccine in January and have regretted it since 3 weeks after my 2nd dose. My lungs have been agitated and congested ever since and my energy hasn’t been what it used to be. None of those side affects for me after infection, all from vaccine. We have started seeing a lot of vaccinated people having weird immune responses to all the viruses going around this time of year. Crazy high fevers, organ inflammation, auto immune disorders…. All in the vaccinated and nothing strange in the unvaccinated. I do believe that there is a demographic that would benefit from the vaccine as the risk of the Rona is high for them. A close friend of mine had a perfectly healthy 15 year old marathon runner who got the vaccine and after spending almost 3 weeks  (1 1/2 of them in ICU) in the hospital with organ inflammation and high fever, they have “no idea” why he responded that way. For those of us that have taken the vaccine, most will be just fine, some will be messed up forever. Same thing for those that contracted the virus.  It is very interesting that in Europe , they have had 5 times the normal cardiac arrests on the field than they do in a normal year. All from cardiac related issues as well as clotting issues…. All potential side affects from the vaccine.  This has affected us all differently for sure …. The masking is a waste of time. High vaccination and mask mandate counties are following the same curve of infection and hospitalization as those without… here in riverside county there has been a slight increase in hospitalizations the past few weeks but we are still at less than 1/3 the hospitalizations as we had last year at this time. We ran on at least 4 or 5 COVID patients every day last year at this time, and now I’ve run on 4 or 5 in the last 4 months. Everybody has to decide what risk they are willing to take whether or he getting the virus or vaccine. We have had 2 vaccinated employees come down with COVID since getting vaccinated and both of them had the exact same symptoms , severity , and length of illness as any of us prior to the vaccine. Most of us at this point have either had COVID, received the vaccine, or are just resistant to it without help. That’s why this season will be far less illness than last year at this time.
