My 2006 Wuerth Motorsports Build

Careful with those Tatum spindles. The billet is nice but the geometry is not the best. you may need to change some things around or deal with a little more bump steer.

This is so cool to see!! I wonder where all of his jigs ended up. I heard Wicked Sand Cars or Amplified Performance or one of those companies ended up with them. Not sure if that was true or not.

Interesting to see the very early cars. the rear shock mounts, and didnt realize until seeing these photos that some used bump stops!

What year were these photos taken?

I added the air bumps to my car. They worked pretty good, car was setup good for just the wife and I and the bumps helped when there was 4 people in the car.

Well per usual I was looking for more things to mess with, so decided to modify my existing intake pipe. I had been running a simple 90 degree coupler with a piece of 4" aluminum tube and a smaller oiled filter up until now. The filter got dirty so quick, and practically had to clean it every day.

So decided to make/modify an intake pipe to fit a 6637 filter where the original fuel cell was. Forgot how huge these filters were. Ran them in my 7.3 days!

Ordered an outerwear for it as well.

But it fits nice and tucked up within the cage and looks nice! welded on a tab to use as a mount for the intake pipe. Gave it the ol' VHT rattle can treatment.

Should stay much cleaner now. Nice job

Well finally got around to starting to pull the front end apart for the overhaul. This time, it was the driver spindle that was cracked. Both bolts (tie rod and kingpin bolt) were bent, and the spindle was almost cracked in 2 pieces LOL.

I will be posting pics of the Tatum spindle mock up shortly as soon as the hardware arrives!

Great work! Love to see it.
Huge fan of these cars, and came really close to buying one last summer. I love how small lightweight they are for a 4 seat chassis. Cool to see the mods coming along, and done well. Keep up the great work!

That was 2 turns or a good jump from watching the tire go off into the sunset. :)
It would've had to shear that long bolt first.

I'll bet the bend line in it matches up with the lower part of the knuckle just below the snout line. It probably bent because the knuckle cracked and was just trying to hold the whole show together.

Morgan is a buddy.
I was giving him a hard time.
Serious mode over.

Thanks!! That was a huge reason why i initially bought this bar. always like the styling, wheelbase, and how light and nimble they are! although ive added a ton of weight to it! LOL
