Living with a 2D

My 2D lasted 10 trips, 1 season.

I knew when I bought the car that it was the weak link.

Stock LS1.  2600lb car.

What was stated earlier is correct, not all about HP, rotational mass and weight plays factors.

I have Outboard hubs, 934's, 33" Blasters and I drive the car hard.

 
I agree with most on here about how you drive and how the car is set up. I have an ls3 with 470hp and a 2d with 934’s and running on a set of extreme paddles. Car isn’t probably 2200 ish lbs. just finished my 7th season on this 2d and do about 25 to 30 dune Days a year. I don’t hammer woops and keep clutch in if my tires are going to leave the ground.
