I may have to buy a lawn mower.

I have fake turf....problem solved.
Augmentation vs Natural, this is a whole other thread....

Besides in Havasu...you have too many choices and the fake stuff can take the heat, beating, etc over time LOL

Just like Augmentations (I've lived through the whole process, save the "good points", because there are none), fake grass is a horrible choice and bad for the environment it's in. Period.

It's made from recycle tires and plastic, increases the Urban Heat Island Affect; surface temperatures are usually 20 - 50 degrees higher than real grass. It often lasts a fraction of time that the manufacturers claim and needs to be replaced prematurely, it doesn't allow transpiration of water and kills the soil biome below it reducing drainage and all other natural components (basic oxygen generation, you know... unimportant shit) true grass has.

It's literally one step away from having a yard full of Playground tire crumbs. How classy.

I tried to save the "good points" like you suggested but I can't.

1. Never watered it
2. Never mowed it
3. Its still green
4. Still looks good.

Different strokes for different folks.

My three boys (13,12,9 they are us citizens) take care of the sod we put in about 6 months ago and I’m glad to be adding to the”basics oxygen “ generation and providing a “healthy soil biome” below said sod

Great Story......This company called DHL......The largest logistics company in the world called a door company for service. Their reply..........."our door guy is on vacation. We'll get to you when he returns." They called my company that day. Been a great relationship ever since. How do you call in sick? Peace

So my lawnmower started to lose its ability to self propel. Good thing for YouTube cause it seems to be an issue. The plastic tab that holds the electronics for the self-propel breaks.
So, just grab my T15 bit and WHAT THE EFF...???? they are in like 3 inches and I don't have an extension that long.
Amazon.com and the next day I get a set of 4" extended Star security bits.
Open up the handle and what do you know the tab is broken.
So here is a trick if you need to glue plastic back together, I learned this from one of my Teachers at CSULB for the Industrial Design program I was in.
ZAP Glue and Baking Soda. Baking soda for the cracks and then when you add ZAP glue there is a chemical reaction that bonds them instantly.
However, you need to be careful because that chemical reaction actually creates Cyanide gas and you will see a puff of smoke and if you are close you will about pass out, ask me how I know.....
My teacher thought he created some knew concoction and had his chemist buddy run it....3 Days later his buddy told DO NOT DO THAT, It creates Cyanide gas!
Ok, so back to my project...got the tab set in place, added in some baking soda around...couple drops...ok more than a couple and PUFF....instant bond and solid!
Now I didn't make it all pretty and sand it or paint it since it is covered up. But you can sand the final result add some filler and paint and make whatever smooth.
LOL
Fun stuff.
