Glamis this weekend!

ok, so today we learned that wearing OHV/MX Riding Gear in an UTV is not "cool" .... :rolleyes:

Wow, are SXS UTVs soooo close to being like Sand Cars their drivers are now snobs as well? 😆


I think this new UTV "community" loves wearing something that shows their love of the sport.

Ever been to a soccer game? Clothing with Corp/Sports Team LOGOS are a big fan favorite.

Not sure what ya know about the high end boater crowd but all these fuckers buy a 400-3mill boat.. and right after the graphics are done they go and have custom jerseys made with the graphics of the boat the name and then their “sponsors” that invariably are not sponsors..

I could never get into it.. when I goto a regatta it’s like half these guys are nascar teams in rayon shirts that don’t fit right.. lol.

If someone gives me crap cause I'm wearing an MX jersey (From a time in my life that so much fun), then good for them, poke that fun!!!
To me it makes sense to wear offroad stuff....Offroad, but what do I know? I'm a dumb sxs owner!

These "$$ types" are everywhere, just depends on what they are into. I follow high end guitar collectors and every time a new vintage sunburst Les Paul gets found and presented to the public, the finder / new owner always feels the need to give it a name. I get why some guitars have nicknames, but unless yore name is Eric Clapton, you are not worthy. Stupidest fucking shit of all time.

Would that be the: "Yo check me out, I have EFF YOU Money and want everyone to think I race, but in reality I'm first to the sand bar! But I have a crew and you better not be seen on my boat unless your in Team colors, but you're not part of the team cause it's all about ME...

And don’t know about graphics but we do get shirts and hats made with a rendering of our Sportfisher and the name on it. Does that put me in with the rest of all the F—-ers? Maybe since our shirts and hats fit normally we are OK? 😀😀😀

I use to wear a jersey because I was bouncing back and forth from quad rides to driving the SXS.

Camp RZR did not disappoint. Vendors area was packed and was some of the worse rush hour traffic I have seen. Thankfully Rugged Radio was at the beginning near the the Can Am area so I did not have to go through the gauntlet of cars.

Other than Olds, Swing set, drags, and Sunset the dunes were not crazy busy. Wash 6 was not the only party place. Seems they spread out to most of the washes. We had a live band battling a construction generator in our wash. Funny thing is the person with the generator put it right next to their bedroom slide out. LMAO!!

Very entertaining. Saw the group of two wheelers on FB. Been in some groups like that in the desert. Pretty wild when you brail ride over the rocks. Miss a two wheeler in the dunes. Plushy ride no matter how rough it gets.

Same here. I wear a mx jersey for the lightweight full arm sun protection. I wear it in the buggy & mountain biking. Luckily I'm old enough now that I don't give 2 cents what other people think about me.
 
A good friend of mine won the Shock Therapy shock tune & springs at the Sand Show. They offered to do the service at Camp RZR so he did not have to drive to ST in AZ. Another friend scheduled to have his car done at the same time. Neither had ever been to Camp RZR and it had been 20 years since both being in the desert on a Holiday weekend.

Both got their shocks rebuilt, and did a quick test ride and go the hell out of there. They said it was crazy, and the traffic was like being on the 52 at 5pm. On the way back home they stopped in Plaster City and tested the cars some more.
 
You guys are not understanding the jersey reference. Its large groups who flash mob an area. They all wear the same jersey from dad all the way down to the childrens. They are known to have large desert parties in AZ and create havoc.
