I remember paying $.86 at the Arco in Redlands in 1998ish. I don’t remember what happened to make it drop for a couple of weeks. The average when I started driving in 1997 was $1.10…. I commuted from crestline to Redlands for school…. Parents gave me $20 a week for gas and that would get me through my 45min each way commute with a couple dollars to spare for the week.

I'm not as old as some of you Fks. But, I do remember strapping the bottle of 2 stroke oil to the trees of my '85 CR80, RIDING it to the gas station pumps with a dollar in my pocket, and have enough for gas to rip the dez all day.
