Any Late Model Bronco Guru’s Here?

JL with a cheap lift and 35s will do all the big bear trails.
Or a JK.

For sure, JLs are the cheat code for actual wheeling.  I have a really built WJ, and a relatively built XJ... but I could go get a JL and do the Mopar 2" and 35"s (well, I'd do 37"s) and do just as much or more than either.  I just didn't get the sense that's what the OP actually wants to do.  More a TOAD that drives nice on the street but can do some trail stuff.

Assuming equal traction devices, new Jeep on 35s is about equivalent to an older Jeep on 33s.  The ground clearance and narrower body help a ton.  Rear control arm bracket and fuel tank are constantly kissing things.

Great input and beautiful Bronco -  thank you! Someone on the Renegade Moho forum I’m on also mentioned the software update and that there are two fuses you can pull to ensure 100% no issues when flat towing. I would go with a hard top and maybe a bit less aggressive tire to help reduce noise. If I decide this will also be my daily driver I will go minimum Wildtrak with Lux package. I would want the adaptive cruise and better sound system. And yes, if it’s my daily driver I need to be able to make calls while on the road. Obviously if I just get one for a TOAD behind the Moho then that would change things and I could go with reduced options. Off roading would be pretty limited to occasional trails or when there is snow. Unlikely I would do any real rock crawling.
Was gonna say: seems that disconnecting the shifter once in the mode you want would fix this problem.

Fair point, and I've seen this in practice too.  I've out-wheeled new JLs on 40"s with the XJ on 35"s.  And my WJ has a ton of clearance and a completely smooth full-belly skid plus great approach/departure and a nearly ideal ~108" (slight stretch over the factory ~106") wheelbase.  It also has crazy flex with the long arms, antirocks, etc.  So, yeah my WJ on 35"s should out-wheel a JL on 35"s... or even 37"s.  That said, I stand by the "cheat code" comment since you can just go down to a dealership and sign on the dotted line for a JLUR XR that's already on 35"s and will do anything 99.999% of people would be willing to try.

Absolutely.  Hell, a JLUR has waaaay too much stock for what most people are willing to subject a shiny $50k vehicle to.

If for a toad, I have link to all the chit I used to tow with the modular bumper. So easy!
