After the "bag ban", people were using reusable bags, carrying in their arms, etc.  But now I've noticed the same amount of bags are being used, they're 3x as thick and now we just eat the "tax" on them.

Kind of got used to the reusable bags, just got to keeping a set in my car.  When the COVID madness began, the grocery stores around here stopped allowing them to be used.  Don't know if that is still the case.

That doesn't sound too bad. Eff up one more time and we take our ball and go home for a year and you don't pay for trash pick up for a year and have to burn it in a barrel in the back yard at night. What's a year's trash pick up cost?

 
Our city is doing that chit too. They want you to put food waste into a paper bag and then into the yard waste container. So wet rotting food waste into a paper bag, sounds like a great plan. They are going to audit your trash and fine you if you have organic waste in the wrong can. All because dipshit Newsom claims that the topsoil they are making from the organic waste is helping with climate change. Yet we still factory farm all over the state. The biger issue is with factory farming and poor land management but the people who profit are tied into government and can operate with impunity. This is a good listen

I crackup when I see the "organic food waste" container at the RV park in Yorba Linda.  There's probably 10+ trash dumpsters and a one recycle dumpster for the whole RV park. Then a few of those little rolling trashcans for the food waste.  I looked in and people are just using it for garbage, when the dumpster is full.  :clown:

THEN people are bitching because the park HAD to raise the overnight rates at that RV park...

so for the longest time in business i have had a $165 3 yard dumpster

then a few years ago they required another 3 yard dumpster for my cardboard.  they charge me an extra $135 for this dumpster, they put a lock on it so people dont steal it and then they make money on the recycling but cant give me the dumpster for no charge or any credit

so after Thanksgiving i find a new residential trash can on my property  i ask what is this.  They tell me that it is for my organic waste and is required by law. It told them im a shop and dont have organic waste.  after a month they denied my claim to forego the $91 a month small 65 gallon trash can.  they want me to now separate my food scraps and paper towels into the organic trash can and yard clippings.   

so i pay $391 a month for trash at my shop.  I have a single dumpster at my home and only pay $135 for a 5 yard dumpster and can put everything in

They have the franchise where my shop is so no alternative.  The state is claiming that organic waste going into the landfills are contributing to green house gases  Oh my  i am glad i only have a few more years of this

Glad I got out when I did.  

Even though Arizona will do things, Lake Havasu and Mohave County....does not.

For recycle bins/compost bins....you want it...you sort it.  If I pay for the bin, I get to use it anyway I want.  Besides, I don't see a break on my bill for recycling or where the money goes that they earn from it.

 
I had a bicycle distributing company and they were charging me a tire disposable fee and we didn't even sell tires but they charged me anyway. DON~~~

 
City of Chandler has had the black(garbage) and Blue(recyclables) cans for years. They pick up each once a week, Even got a few "warnings" about things like junk mail in the blue can a few times.  Then we got the notice that they no longer will be separating the recyclables so all the trash was going to the same landfill.  They didn't change anything else. Now I get trash pick up twice a week, only thing is that if I put the black one out on the blue one's day, they won't dump it.  I can live with that.   

 
I am more pissed that the trash trucks leak oil over the street, If I did that I would be fined.

Even worse when it's your road to maintain.  I move where my trashcans park all the time to keep the hydraulic oil from destroying the asphalt bindings in one spot.

i told them the same thing.  they said they did a site inspection and found a few palm leaves in my regular dumpster

so they are doing site inspections!!arghhhh!, then came the declining of my request
