Last week, I talked with one of my old Middle school friends and son of a past neighbor (his Dad has Cancer, I was following up on that) who I sold my 2003 Baja Toy Hauler to and was sent pics of what it looks like now.

I sold it in 2016 back when I was starting Canndescent and didn't have a lot of time for weekend Glamis trips and ultimately didn't really need it anymore.

Before I sold it, I did the following:

- Completely sanded and repainted the entire frame
- Bought and installed new door Springs
- Recaulked all seams and roof areas
- New tires
- Reworked and reupholstered the rear bunk ladder mount
- New rear vent Cover that someone lost and never offered to replace, after borrowing the trailer
- Polished all wheels and Diamond plate areas
- Detailed the entire rig (I miss the hell out of only having to wash 16' of trailer)
- New batteries
- Some other crap I can't remember

Turns out he goes to Ocotillo a lot and was caught in a wind storm. Unfortunately, it ripped a lot of the siding off on one of his trips home. I hope he can get it repaired for a reasonable cost as it's a great trailer and works very well for a Single Guy.

Overall, just super stoked to see it being used and appreciated. Bummed that he has the issue he does, however.

you bring this up at an crazy time.
couple weeks ago, guy at work calls me, my girlfriends aunt died and has a couple cars for sale. want to look at them.. sure..
97 firebird 1 owner (just a v6) convertible, 63k miles, been in garage and not tagged since 16, he bought it new. I buy it.
has a 18-19 continental that I flip to a friend.
he takes me on a tour of the house. her husband had died a year or so back, she just passed.
NOONE wanted anything, they got a huge roll off, filled it up, sold the 2500sf house to the neighbor for 200k with all the contents, from the china and cabinet, to thewasher dryer, mickey mouse phone and bbq gas grill, clothes, books, christmas junk and all as is. prob a min 450k house..........AND they put a new roof on it, because the man filed a claim 4 years ago, and never had it replaced, so the claim was made, and they found out when they called to cancel the insurance, the agent told them it was an open case. WILD.

They didn't want to bother with selling the furniture, or anything.

I sat there and thought, man..............Is this where my stuff will end up. I'll be gone and noone gives a damn about anything..........nothing.
really made me sad for the couple. I feel like I got some good junk lol.
they did tear through everything in the house to make sure no money was hidden in drawers, papers etc.

That's our parents and possibly our generations.

I've seen it myself, it's sad. That's somebody's life right there.
