Anyone know the history on this car. Sounds like it came out of AZ or Cali and these guys bought it at an auction on the cheap.

The entire weight of the front end was carried by 4 nearly parallel tubes almost exactly perpendicular to the load path from the suspension...?

Those guys are clueless.
Yeah, they’re definitely clueless, but I think that’s kind of the point. They’re YouTubers catering to the average American viewer, probably leaning into the “we don’t know what we’re doing” thing just so they can stretch it into more content as they figure it out on camera.

That said, I really hope they actually do a proper repair. It’s starting to look like one of those giveaway companies that slap something together just to move T-shirts. Hopefully they don’t end up handing someone a death trap.

I think they have a major bulkhead upgrade for that frame. My buddy had his do the same thing years ago. Cant imagine all that punishment on just those 4 tubes. Yikes!

Would love to know whose car it was and what the payout was to let it go to auction. Some nice parts on that thing.

Once @Goatpoker is done being balz deep in a three-foot Puerto Rican he might be able to comment on the build of that car as well.
LOL, not too familiar with that one but they sure did get a deal! Wish I'd have know n it was going to auction, would be good spare parts

I'm wondering if that was a lighter LS1 2D car that someone pimped out because JP has a much beefier bulkhead on the "bigger" cars.

@Big_Daddy_Jp or his FIL had the same problem I believe

It looks like it "may" be a newer JP build but I think you're right and I have doubts on it being one of his cars. I've been a huge fan of Jesse since he took the time to sit down with my buddy American Pitbull and I for a few hours, many years ago and I try to stay on top of his builds. I could be wrong but the Bulkhead and rear shock mounts are not what I'm used to seeing but he does change designs from car to car, often.

Either way, lucky guys. I'd take it in this condition.

The car owner was doing some jumps and playing around at test hill in Gordon's and ran into a utv which ripped the front end off, we didn't see the accident, we came in after and was told what went down, car is a few year-old Jp car.

I never have understood how that’s profitable
