The official Honda Thread

I was thinking of going with the traum pistons. They have a “dish” version that will drop my compression down to 9.3:1
Along with ARP head studs. Then I’m coming for all the Ls guys with my tiny Honda

If I want to get rid of the stock fuel pressure regulator, and NOT buy aftermarket fuel rails - converting this fuel line to a 6AN seems to be the best option. What have others done? I could just cut this line and have a push on to female or male 6AN? Or?

What you are suggesting to do would be okay for a non turbo pump gas application.

If you go turbo or E85 I suggest modifying the fuel system. #8 fuel line from tank and get rid of the piggyback fuel lines to the fuel rails. You want each fuel rail getting supplied with it's own fuel line from distribution block.

Alright Honda fam. Help me pick a turbo. I’ve nailed it down to a 3576, or a 3582. I’d like smooth power throughout, but don’t want it to fall flat in the top end. Thinking maybe max torque at 3k rpm? Only shooting for 400whp for now. Which do you think will fit the bill best. I also want a quick spool. So I was thinking 3582 w/.63ar both turbos are pulsar, which I can get a great deal on. Thanks for the help

I would choose the turbo that spools earlier. I am rarely over 5500rpm.

I am about to. It’s sitting in my office still in the box. Bought it from ATP turbo. I sent them my setup and car weight and they said it’s perfect as it will offer very quick spooling and still make the power I want (550 whp)

Did you get the 3-in GT housing? I had the same turbo on my J35 and I switched to a 63 exhaust housing and it made it a torque monster.. It spooled so quick and never quit breathing all the way to red line.

You're going to love it.
If you have the ability to tune VTech, we ended up lowering activation to either 3000 or 3300 RPMs.. I'm a little fuzzy on that. It really woke the car up though. That's when it started pulling the front end off the ground where it didn't before
That is great feedback and I am hoping it makes a huge difference on my car.
