Smallest toy hauler that would still fit a Funco Gen4.

Check out the Genesis GCK-4016 if looking for a garage model.
16' Garage and the best living quarters for a garage model I've ever seen.
Most Garage model 5th wheels have really small living quarters and once you get a couple of adults in there it gets tight real quick.

That thing looks super nice! Keep upping the size and weight and have to figure out where to stop. 46' long and 16k lbs dry. Thing is a beast. Thinkin I want to stay at 40-42' max. Not sure if even that is to big to travel and some of the campgrounds.

Ya, she's a monster...but Nice!!
Going to be difficult to find a big enough garage model in the 40-42' range....If it doesn't have to be a garage model check out the Genesis 38IKS .

I have had both the WW LE and FB models, FB26 will have plenty of room, but it is heavy empty for a bumper pull, crazy amount of Tongue weight. The LE model pulled like a dream, mostly due to it being a 5th wheel. I would look at an LE3505, plenty of room and still National Park friendly, and lots out there under $20,000.

My first 5th Wheel was a WW LE3505.....Great Rig for sure!!

Thinking I don't want to pull a big 40' plus heavy trailer even with a 3500 duramax single rear wheel truck. Don't want a dually for sure. I actually like the LE3505 being 35' and much lighter. I would have no problem doing some updates to a 19 year old trailer. With that said they do seem cramped with no slides. Did anyone make a trailer like that with 16' for a buggy and one or two slides? Seem like all the newer trailers need to be 42+ feet long and heavy to have a 16" garage area.

I did a lot of research looking for a toy hauler that would fit my class 1 car (weight and dimensions) and still be able to fit in most state / federal campgrounds. I ended up purchasing an ATC 2917, which was one of the only trailers that would fit the bill. I didn't want a motorhome because we use the truck in the dunes and camping. I am pulling it with a '21 2500hd. High quality trailer that does everything we need.
Very interesting trailer and different than others out there. I like the tracks and how modular it is. Not sure we could live with the front bedroom being that small especially if we were traveling and living in it for a month or two. Pretty cool. And a bumper pull as well. 7600 lbs trailer with 1275 lbs tongue weight. 5600 lbs capacity with a GVWR of 13,200. What I don't understand is the website says (2) 6000 lbs axles. How can that be with higher GVWR?

Is a gen 4 under 15’5”

That would be a cool trailer. I’ve been looking too but the new Funco’s are 16’6” and I don’t want a big trailer.

The tongue supports 1,275 lbs of the weight, leaving 13,200 - 1,275 = 11,925 lbs supported by the 2 axles.

82 and 1/2 in wide in the front. Don't remember the rear but my car is wider than the normal Gen 4 because all the work I did in the back. I have always put skinnies on my car no matter what trailer it has been in.

My old WW 2600FB. 15'5" Eco1
I would back it in because if not the trailer would sway real bad. If I did pull it in forward I could fit the Honda 450 that's in the back of the truck in the kitchen but it was PITA. lol The tongue on these are way under built. Mine bent up from the weight.

EDIT: It's not a super lite, It just has the graphics.

Wifey and I have been sitting here talking about trailers. We both agree it would be absolutely dumb to buy a big 45' behemoth and need a dually to tow it safely. I personally like this trailer. https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/wolf-pack/350PACK15/10473 We could buy a new one and have all the bells and whistles. From the numbers I think a SRW 3500 truck could pull this trailer but it would be maxed out. He mentions no gennie in the front in the below video so that 2900 lbs tongue weight I imagine goes up. Good discussion big trailers and SRW. We had an old 86 Alfa toyhouse that I stuffed my Funco Gen 4 AND an 800 rzr. What a shit show that was but got it all in there. Was WAY overloaded lol. Had to beef up the ramp for loading. Bent the front I beams behind the hitch hauling out of Gordons. Drove all the way home with it bent bad but it made it. Had to weld for two days beefing that up. Honestly that trailer always felt very roomy inside even with no slides. These new trailers are huge but they separate into 3 different compartments making each one small to be honest. I get it separating the fuel from the living areas and that is nice.

I would like to take my Hot Rod Dodge A100 to both LS fest events. It is 4100 lbs. In this thread they talk about a 4200 lb jeep and just don't haul a bunch of other gear at the same time. Sounds like carrying capacity is 6000 lbs? Wife and I agree we could live with and LE3505 and fix it up to our taste. Lots of them for sale and they seem to be sitting. Seems like the perfect trailer for us. Would be cool to gut and redo one with Knotty alder cabinets and modern amenities.

For me, all the frames are the same lippert .125 thick frames, i would want a tripple axle no matter what, i have owned a couple of brand new trailers, and
First check out the roof, even new ones make sure the roof is glued down correctly,
The warranty is BS, not once did they get anything under warranty fixed correctly waist of 5K,
Be prepared on a new coach, mine had small issues, they had if for 6 month never fixed one of the item correctly, i fixed each item myself, waist of time,

The door in the back with the hidden hinges are narrower due to the spring system, i like the wider opening in the door, the better looking door is 2'' skinner

My buddy has the 3619 model and the front bedroom is SO much better. Mine is definitely tight, but it was the only trailer that would fit my car and be under 30'.
