Speaking from a car manufacturer perspective...

The factory always has some sorta "break in tune" going on for the first 2k mi or so.

Would an off-road manufacturer do this?

Would be foolish not to.

Would also be pretty foolish to run any four wheel drive vehicle (designed for off road) on asphalt!

So yeah, who knows. 😜
