I tried to find out what happened to the Smash Mouth singer, can't find much other than it happened fast???  I saw him in concert once, they were a lot of fun, under-rated.

Didn't really happen fast.  He had alcohol related issues for years (originally relayed to me by a friend who who worked with them back during their "Shrek" period),  which took him off the road a few years back,. Liver finally gave out .   .  .
