Where’s the old school sand cars at?

I always thought one of the low slung 2-seat mid engine VW cars would be fun!

Super light, nimble, but make sure to have an appointment with your Local Chiropractor the following week!

:lmao:

Ver cool cars.

cool car... I want turbos on mine.  what size rear tires are those?
Remember these are light cars, they don’t dig very well and you tend to have to over tire the car so that gets some traction. Here is what I had I had to do to go between track and Glamis when it was on 118, I had to up the rear end ratio in the quick change gears to allow the car to have hopes of traction. It has not been to Glamis since it was converted to alcohol.
on gas we ran 32lbs of boost, now we run about 40 on alcohol. It’s a small bore motor 2332

sweet, started in a Prowlers SSIV mid-engine 3.5l Olds aluminum V8 car

want to get another old school, but I'm very particular on the type/style I want

I always wonder where all those cars went, my first car was a Johnnys 2+2, 1835cc was fun.  Had the frame rebuilt by that Manufacturing school in Moreno Valley that @KingGlamis once worked for............would be hard to miss.

Ready to go as long as we don’t let any parts out at the track next weekend.
