What tool bag and tools do you carry!

I would highly recommend making sure you have the appropriate tool to remove your axles, so if you blow yore ring and pinion the trans locks up you can pull yore axles and free wheel it while getting towed.

the things I would have done last season for a triple square bit 😅
I should mention at least one person in our group carries a short handle snow shovel under his rear bench seat -  - its the most useful tool  - not why you think though ...

Towing out on a blown rear tire or worst I lost wheel  - hub or midboard failurre  is super hard on the car towing and car being towed .   We learned the hard way.  Our "fix" was to  slip a An aluminum snow shovel under the rear arm and strap the handle the arm and it works like a ski - this also works if a wheel gets locked up . we have had to do this twice and both times it worked "ok"

Of all the tools I carry the one that seems to get borrowed the most for other groups in need is a hammer.   Carry a hammer.

Thanks!

Those are perfect!

I get it being towed back is better at times. Have had a friend lose a caliper bracket on his RZR and we didn’t have any bailing wire. Used some duct tape and eventually that tore and lost the caliper. Oil spilled out and that’s when we found out the RZR has a safety mechanism which won’t let you start the car without pressing brake pedal.
No fluid = No start.

Luckily another RZR had some motor oil and we used that to fill the line and RZR started.

Thanks everyone for your input!!!!
You can also short the connector to get it to start: just unplug it, cut/strip a short length of wire and shove it in both sides of the connector.

I'll take a picture of a recent repair when I get home (keep it as a spare since it worked perfectly), but this sheeyit has saved my bacon more than twice:

Just clean it reasonably well, have a buddy hold the busted part while you wrap it keeping the tape stretched tight.  Has held in fuel, oil, coolant and sorta kinda power steering fluid (couldn't hit the stops or it burst).

Rescue Tape is the Shizzle - but it only sticks to itself well, so you have to wrap it really tight

Yep.  Why you need a buddy to hold the broken shiznit, otherwise you're probably going to throw the broken part AND the tape 2 bowls over...

Wow this is getting better and better. Have never heard of Rescue Tape.

Again, THANKS EVERYONE!!!!

Soft shackles are great as well:

Replace D-rings with them.  Easy to loop around tubing with less damage (can still strip paint with a lot of tension, but the sleeve helps) and a hell of a lot less likely to kill you.
