The XPS Ribs are only rated at 3042 lbs each and 80 psi. This might be OK on a smaller fifth wheel. Personally, I would not run them on a large dual axle like you have. The Sailun S637 that I run (and probably any 14-ply trailer tire) is rated for 4409 lbs each and 110 psi. I used to run LT tires when I had a lighter trailer, but I wouldn't do it with my current one.
i had the LT tires in my 48ft race trailer would go through no less than 4 tire each trip across from nj to glamis went to the 14ply upgraded the vale stems and run 90 psi in them 4 years never a problem. they are about twice the weight of a LT tire and would never go back to the LT tire. I do rember something about that alot of the aluminum wheels were only rated for 80 psi. edited to say when i was towing with a 1999 f350 drw i also had 3 tire go bad on the truck one took the wheel well right off the truck, Now I am towing with a f450 with 19.5 commercial truck tires.... also truck and trailer combo is right around 37k loaded

Continental htl2 235/75r-17.5 18 ply with alcoas on my trailer
they are serious tires my friend has a boat hauling business we put them on his hydraulic trailer went from wiping out tires every few months to ripping the suspension apart every year. he finally got a bigger trailer and still overloads it for the most part he is pulling them and putting them in storage in the marianas. the only problem with them any rim size with .5 like 17.5 19.5 22.5 don't have a bead rolled into the rim to hold the tire on the bead and if you air down in the sand they can pop the bead pretty easily

I know I'm diggin up old stuff here. Anyone have any 15" to recommend? I've been eyeballing the TransEagles and the Good Year Endurance. Going on an older 2 axle WW LE3105 (GVWR 11,400).

Do yourself a favor and go with a 16" wheel, you will have a better selection.

Hercules H-901 ST235/85/16 is all I run....both on my 40' Vortex 5th wheel and 24' IROK Enclosed.
I've had great success with these tires on multiple rigs for years.

I just ordered a spare from Tireeasy.com at a great price and free delivery.

They're making 14 ply 225/75R15 trailer tires now. I bought some Samsons a few months ago for $115 each. 3525 lb weight rating at 110 psi

Goodyear G114. E rated. Expensive but well worth it! That's all me another buddy run on our stackers, been running them on other trailers as well for years.
