The Democrats always want higher energy prices, they truly believe it helps the economy.  The only thing that backfires for them normally is that it become more profitable to Frack.  But Biden and Newscum got ahead of that and already passed legislation that halts any new Fracking, sneaky bitches.  Higher energy prices drive people to be more dependent on Government and other non fossil fuel alternatives.  They also believe higher prices affects the higher earners more, which they fail to recognize that it is a trickle down issue and we all pay.  There are studies out there stating that higher fuel prices actually help the economy..................the logic is baffling to me.
