What Sub sammy works for you?

I try to stay away from the National Chains, would rather go to the smaller shops. Going to have to try Sidewinders next time I am in the area.

From Jersey Mike's? #6, extra meat Mike's Way with CPR and mustard.

Otherwise:

K's Sandwiches. Club on a croissant.
Gaglione Brothers: nearly any sammich.

Not a single one in 47 months since my heart attack. Some of the unhealthiest food out there.

Honorable mention to the Cubano at Havana Sandwich Company in El Segundo, which is unfortunately no longer with us. I ate there for over a decade. The thing about Cuban Sandwiches is that the bread has to be right and not many places go out of their way to get authentic Cuban bread. Fortunately, there is as Cuban Bakery down the street from work and I can still get my fix

Yes, that counts more then other places for sure.

Alhambra is the Original Location, thank God there is one near my place now too.

I worked and lived in Alhambra back when I was 18? Got my check on Friday from working at Valley Auto Supply, went the bank to cash it, and went straight to The Hat to eat...

Chili burger, chili fries, and a large cherry coke. Livin large.

Such wish I could eat like that now!!!

🤣

University from Arizona Sandwich Co..
Now that is a good sandwich shop, I also like Shorty's on Broadway and like 38th Street. Been a minute sense I have been there though

There's a place by me called The Grinder, been around since the '50s. I've been going there since I was probably 8 years old.
The godfather or hot pastrami, but every sandwich they make is good.

Arcadia, yes?

My absolute favorite is tkb deli in indio ca, definitely worth a stop, and it's on the way to glamis for anyone going east on the 10 fwy. I've been going here since they started, in a much smaller place then they are now. Family run business, and they have a bakery as well. The owner is always in there and hands out cookies if the line is too long, so you have a snack while you wait. All the baked goods are awesome as well....
Honorable mention, jet sream deli in palm springs is pretty awesome too.
D'elia's in riverside on university is pretty damn good too, I used to get lunch here when I was working in riverside, definitely worth a try.
