What Hot Rod do you have?

How do you disturb the neighbors with that small exhaust pipe?
The rattle is WAY louder than the exhaust.   Annoyingly so.....

And it does have a straight 4" exhaust with an AFE resonator so it sound pretty mellow until you lay into it and it has a bit of a growl out the back.

1969 SuburbN my 16yr old son and I built. She is not the best looker but drivetrain and frame down is all rebuilt/new.

He has put more miles on it than I have. Drives it to school and work often. Not daily but close.

Just park in front of their house.  The oil stains should do it...
Surprisingly it does not leak too much.  260k and it's been parked in the same spot on the street since 2000, no mess.

Was at the liquor store earlier and a random dude came up to me while at the register asking if I owned a maroon TBSS.  "Uh, yeah.."

He lives in my 'hood and passes my house everyday.  He wanted to buy it..  Not really interested in selling it, but threw a reasonably large number at him.  He wants to look at it closer later.

Chit....

Man - what a life...C10 cruising in Maui must be a blast.  Stoked for your brother!
He works as a RN in the trauma ward at the hospital.  Single dad to adolescent twins.  Guy gets minimal rest...lol

I think driving this truck is his peace.  He saved for years to do it.

I have the same 65 mustang I bought from my mom at 15 years old. It's was my daily driver for a few years, then bought a ranger. Pulled the engine out, did a basic rebuild, forged pistons, and gt40p heads from ford motorsport. The shop I paid to ballance the bottom end did a chit job and it had a nasty vibration at 5000 rpm. Pulled the engine for a rebuild and to paint the car. Moved during the process. Stored the car at my grandfather's house cause I was now in an apartment. Neighbors yard an fence cought fire and completely torched one side of the car. That's been about 15 years ago now and I've never found the time to start back up on it. At this point it needs to be fully stripped and start from bare. But hey, I still have it! Probably taking a break from the dunes for a season or 2, cause we bought a house and moved, so maybe now is the time to start looking at it again......

Owned this '72 CB750 K2 since new. Went thru many modifications, drag and street racing mid 70's. Replaced the fiberglass gas tank (damaged by Californias MTBE) completely re-chromed about 5 years ago. R.C. Engineering 1000cc 1/4' stroke, Denco 4 into 1 exhaust.

Couple pictures of my 1928 Model A in 1970. Used it to tow the '54 Ford Station Wagon to the local drags. Picture with Cragar wheels is as its sits currently. Of all the vehicles I've owned and regret selling is the '54 Wagon, Open chamber 427 Chevy, tunnel ram, B&M clutch turbo 400. Sold to a rich Indian who crashed totaled it a month later on drugs.

'06 SSR used for day trips to Glamis ....
