What happened to desert dynamics

So as in my other post I'm getting ready to build a new car I have always loved dd cars but can never find any where to get one built did they go out of business or does anyone no who has a chassis
 
They are long gone. The owner screwed over a bunch of people and skipped town a few years ago
 
Dave is still out there somewhere. There was a lot of bad taste in peoples mouths dealing with him directly over the last 10ish years. He still has the jigs, but from what I understand, plan on it not being done for a LONG time, if ever.

@J Alper knows the most about these cars.
 
If you find him let me know. He took about $50k in parts and cash from my buddy and skipped town. He had 3 other builds he was doing at the same time with all the same story.

My buddy and the other 3 guys all showed up to the shop with the police. When they opened the shop it was pretty much empty

Thread '1.75" Tube Desert Dynamics Pre-runner chassis.'

I am on the fence, but the conversation was brought up last weekend between my wife and I. We relocated our Schmidty Racing Suspension business out of Cluster-eff-fornia into AZ.. So thankful to be gone. But realize we are growing so fast, I have next to zero time to devote to building this chassis out . So To be practical, if I really want a car, I really need to just buy one done.  I have an untabbed Desert Dynamics ,Pre-runner chassis. i lost touch of him, but last i had heard dave moved to texas.
 
Manny in CA, does all the suspension still, Man-welder, we are working on doing a chassis, going to be a copy of my Prerunner but straight,
Dont have time for a full car but will have full rollers next year,

Got the Bulk head CAD done and welded on one of the chassis, and the rear arms, working on front arms after the first of the year, my partner is building a 4 seat car, he owns a commercial steel building company, what is funny is his name is Dave lol.

I'm looking for a chassis, arms, uprights and trailing arms. I want to re use as much as I can off of my current ride.
 
I assume your talking about Justin from revenge racing starting shock therapy he built some bad cars I hurd his shocks are supposed to be pretty good actually supposed to be pretty h

Yes, that sucks. I won't recommend him again.

The DD cars are great, SU makes a leading edge A-arm car too. The new Sand Pro 3 is pretty badass. Raised mid rail, radius roof, larger shocks, front bulk head and fortin rack, added some X bracing in places.
