Curious what folks like for toolbox organizers? I just scored a huge triple bank MAC box with side lockers and I need to get it organized. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to this type of stuff :). I was looking at the Alien Space Saver and the Olsa brands. Any recommendations or actual experience? I'm looking for organizers for sockets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.

If anyone out there is into auto body repair I've got a bunch of tools it came with that I'll be selling. All top end stuff. Located in Oregon.

Only problem is the damn box is so friggin' heavy it dented the extruded aluminum floor in my newer Intech trailer :(:(:(

When I got my rolling tool box for the garage, I went to Lowes and bought a set of Kobalt tools for it. I am no mechanic but wanted a full set and it came with the nice foam inserts that keep the tools neat and organized!
Mac Approved
LOL

I like the looks and organization of that style. Unfortunately, they take up too much room. Even with my new gigantic box I would run out of room. Yes, I have a knowledge I have a problem buying too many tools. Well, if that is a problem that can exist?? Don’t think you can ever have too many tools. 😀😀

I went with the Ernst for wrenches and screwdrivers. So far, I like them. I had enough of the Hanson trays for sockets but will need something for Allen sockets, torx, and swivels that won’t work on the Hanson trays. I’ll probably order some Olsa or Alien’s for those.

Yellow tools and red tools in the same box!? This is madness lol
I had all the Dewalt (yellow) stuff already which I really like. The box came with the Snap On (red) impacts, batts and chargers. I'm trying them out to see which I like better. My first use of the 1/2" Snap On impact and I like it. You don't seem to feel the impact blows and hear the clacking as much as on the Dewalt.

I got stuck on 45min YouTube rabbit hole watching a guy with channel called obsessed garage. He uses grids to organize his tools. Talk about next level. I love an organized tool box.

Dude is a clown. He got all pissed at me because I asked what grown man needs buckets that say "Wash" and "Rinse" on them, besides the one that needs to make money off of it. I've been Detailing at his level since the 90's... never needed my damn buckets labeled.

Ok so...

Everything metic in one box. Everything standard in a different box, everything diagnostic/electrical in a 3rd box.

I like the clip orginazers. I can easily grab a whole rack of sockets, if I'm not sure what size I will need that way.

I also like the long magnetic strips I can cut to length, although they aren't good for heavy sockets.

I use what works for any given situation. I don't think there is a one size fits all option.

Be creative. Use what works for you, without spending a bunch of money. Tool boxes don't earn money. Tools do. 👍🏼
