BTW: if there is any backup on the 125 visible from the 8, I just don't exit.  8 to Chase or 2nd St and take surface streets. Luckily, that means I get to drive up one of my favorite roads in a car made for it.

The traffic related calls in that area are routed to CHP. However, I have happily transferred from that area, my lifelong home, and have moved on to sandier pastures.

The street sweepers are a joke and unnecessary in most residential neighborhoods. Wtf ? they ( the city )street sweep my neighborhood once a month and don't even do a chit crap job . The beach areas I can see it ,  but even then, do they really make a difference ?. Maybe in the beach area where puke and vomit prevail like the city council and their decisions and our tax $.

Better than nothing. The turn lanes, center dividers and shoulders on most roads are completely covered in broken gravel and trash.

Not in my neighborhood. Take the wa$te of a sweeper out of most residential areas and put them where there needed then. But that would take efficiency or a brain.

Yeah. That being said, I live on a private road. The gravel buildup from the road wearing is annoying. Lots of dust.

 
Yeah unfortunately most of what we're talking about is due to poor or 0 maintenance and a city budget that has other priorities. I'll stop now. 😆
