Wash 6 experience 10/22 takes the cake!

We were out in 4 it was a good party till some creepy old guy kept looking at us having a good time... we were about to pack up and leave so he didn't go crazy on us and then he decided to leave.... perfect timing..

Dumb me listened to my sons to camp at wash 4 Thurs night.  Mistake!  Party circle down a little blasting music till 4:30 AM AND looked out cause of course cant sleep and those Effers are in there RV/Trailers sleeping and left the music full blast!  Packed up at crack of dawn moved to wash 6/7   wide open nice and quiet very few rigs.  Along came a group at 5PM of about 20 people  25 year olds tenting with one can am a few bikes etc setting up in front of us!! WTF the whole wash is open!  All good till 1AM EXACTLY and it was Techno Concert LIVE!  I mean gens running pushing tower/monitor speakers so big you felt the bass!  Of course they partied till 5:30AM.  Crack of dawn and I once again move to then end of the wash.  Noticed a few of the other circles packed and moved some where else also later that AM.

Worst trip in 20 years camping at the washes.!!!  I thought coming an off weekend I'd get some peace and quiet. Wrong.   At least my new electric power steering I installed on my SCU worked great! Night and day difference turning and not feeling the chop.
We were in 7. Sat. Night(morning) one of our guys went and asked for them to turn it down around 3am. They did but as soon as he walked back to out camp they turned it back up so he called the po po. Took them about 45 mins to get out there and issue a citation. That was about 4;30!!

Unreal!

I don't get the whole blaring music at all hours of the night (usually crappy chit) with the attitude of I need to be heard and seen at all hours of the day/night, yay Look at me, I'm a big Douchebag! :simrak:  I can't stand that...even when I was younger, but hey...I guess I'm just not that cool!

That's when you wake up at the crack of dawn and let that 2-Smoke Sing like a Canary right by their camp!

:dbart:

Some party’s til 4 am wake up at 6 turn up your music facing them. They say any thing tell them wake up time.

and dud they have the banshee drags and taco truck in wash 6 this weekend the mariachis may play.

BTW, if you have a Holley setup, set your 2 step (and jumper the wire to ignition) to your rev limiter RPM. Makes it extra rowdy.

I used to be that guy.  I would warn people..."We are going to party...."  We'd face the speakers towards the dunes and if people came and said turn it down...we would.  Most never did.

On the other hand...you could not pay me enough to camp in Wash 6.  F*cking gang banger East LA there.
It wasn’t that bad. You guys were part of our set. Holmes.

Could be a good thing. Ive heard wash 6 is insanely loud for years. Be nice if that remained and you could then avoid it. Think i saw somewhere that wash road was groomed downed to the 20s? If that is true then the wash 6 experience will likely spread south as time goes on. It might even leap frog a big distance is the scary part.

Almost doesn't matter where you are, had the same thing happen down in wash 14 a few years ago.

I did not know you can call the po po to come out just for noise.  I bet the LEO was not happy about that call.

It’s like a highway! Hope it lasts
