VP Debate

https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/R/R48122
The presidential nominating process is a political one, not a governmental one. Political parties are private entities and are generally free to set their own rules for how they select presidential and vice-presidential nominees.
True but when you’re running on “protecting democracy” it’s problematic when a few party insiders and mega donors silence the voices of the 14 million that chose Joe as their candidate.

Quite frankly I couldn’t help but think those two should be our presidential candidates with Trump & Harris in the VP role.
If Trump loses it’ll be because of the inability to admit Trump lost in 2020.

WALZ: Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?

VANCE: Tim, I'm focused on the future

What're you talking about? The delegates voted for Harris.

Article two of the U.S. Constitution lists the legal requirements to run for president as well as the process to follow when electing the president. However, the Constitution says nothing about how to nominate a candidate to run for president.

Currently, candidates go through a series of state primary elections and caucuses where, based on the number of votes they receive from the electorate, they win a certain number of delegates. The delegates—people authorized to represent their state—will vote for their assigned candidate at their political party's convention.

On July 21, Biden announced he would exit the race and endorse Harris. Two weeks later, Harris secured the necessary delegates in a virtual vote.

The moderators should've asked JD Vance why Trump needed a new running mate in the first place.

JD seems like a pretty sharp dude and remained calm, walz is a complete whack job that has no business being anywhere near the White House, neither does Kamala though. She has no clue what she’s doing. Just watch when she is asked a question about any of her policy ideas, there is no answer at all…. Just about how she grew up in a middle class family…. Again, she has no clue. She had to drop out of the race before the primary election due to not gaining any support, so let’s put her as VP… makes total sense. She knows nothing about foreign policy, conflicts going on in the world, economy, immigration, do I need to keep going?! I’m just glad the debate was somewhat civil. JD is a far better debater than Trump… his policies and love for our country are on point, his communication is terrible. I have many friends who are Immigrants from all over the world… Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain, Italy England to name a few, and every single one of them is a conservative that loves our country and left their countries for many different reasons and they see the liberal policies attempting to create what they fled from in their native countries. They fear the US will be as bad as where they came from. They are terrified of socialism and terrified of Kamala…. That should tell you something!

Imagine Klamydia involved in the situation is Israel .... what a mess....

If Kamala and Walz win it is going to be terrifying…. Look what her and Joe have done in three and a half years..

America has already changed so much from the 80’s and 90’s till now.. I can’t even imagine what another 4.5 years of this bullshit would entail.

I ran across a story that said Walz's son didn't witness a school shooting. It was actually a shooting outside of a community center that Walz's son was inside of and the shooting was outside. It wasn't a mass shooting, just a dispute between 2 dudes. He heard a gunshot and that was it. He didn't witness anything. JD was sympathetic but now it almost seems like he knew the truth about it before hand and was just patronizing Walz. Funny.

As far as Harris growing up in a middle class family blah blah blah, Candace Owens dug into Harris's family history bcuz of some comment Janet Jackson made and got demonized for it. Candace found no black ancestry but did find that Harris comes from rich Irish slavers.

A presidential candidate chooses a VP based on current issues and who’s available. Maybe former Vice Presidents should unionize and demand that they dictate future VP candidates so there’s no confusion by the informed voters?
As to the delegates deciding who should be a candidate, they’re tasked with conveying the will of the folks that voted in the primary. The Democrat’s back room coup by party insiders & mega donors to thwart the will of the people is a direct assault on democracy.
