Last Friday was out in the dunes and one of my friends had a rear control break open. The rear arm went sideways. We were 5 miles from camp and had lots of guys and tried to lift the rear end of the car--no way!!. The bracket found its way below the bolt. Have had an exhaust jack i bought years ago so did a speed run back to camp and pulled out my exhaust jack box. It didn’t work well from the exhaust of a sxs but from customers own car ( 6 cylinder subie) it worked perfectly. We were able to pull out bolt. Rest the broken tab on top of pivot bolt and then strapped it so the arm couldn’t fall off again. Drove it to camp!

i cant remember where i got this thing but thought it would work in a pinch. there was no other lifting jack that could have done what this did in the middle of the dunes. I love it and its always in my trailer! ready for the next time.

Great feedback, might have to add one to our trailer.

I have one. My 4cyl subie wouldn't lift my car but a NA v8 lifted it with ease
