Lots of traditionally democrat voters have moved away as a result of the above.  Republicans needs to position themselves as common sense working class and they'll clean house.

Unfortunately, there's just too much bad press around Trump that many won't want it again.  Time to move on, and I also don't want another 70-80 year old in office.

 
I really doubt that, if he fails to win the Republican nomination, that his personality and ego would allow him to just step aside in favor of DeSantis or anyone else.  He would go third party or independent at that point.  The Republicans would then really be screwed, and we would be guaranteed Biden 2.0 + Newsom.

I have never liked "The Donald".  I fully supported President Trump's platform and policies.  I wish he had gotten more done, but now, he's unhinged.  

Desantis for me.  Not sure who I support as a VP.  Gabbard is a good look, but she can be all over the place.  I'd probably still vote for her.

The biggest issue with the GOP is they still think we all need to return to the 1950's and NEVER groom electable candidates.  They need to update their platform, but aligning with the conservative Christians needs to stop and groom younger candidates.

Trump will continue to splinter the Republicans and allow the Democrats to continue their destruction of this country.   The guy needs to move on and play golf more.  We need leaders that aren't about pointing the finger and blaming others, leaders with long term strategy.  Trump needs to go away.

I will say that we were WAY better off with Trump then the shitshow we are in right now, so with that, I would vote for him. The problem is the Leftist, Liberal Media...we need them to GO THE EFF AWAY!!!

 
My concern with Desantis, is his backers,,, Paul Ryan, the bush's , basically the swampy R's.... he is the swamps backup plan for Trump... and it's working...Desantis will be Bush 2.0 if he gets in , they will push for Amnesty, and do very little else....  At this point I have zero expectations of anything good happening in the US....The globalists have won.

I am sorry, continuing the narrative that the Dems are cheaters, the elections are fixed, are childish responses (whether true or not).  And by saying those things, it just fuels more people to the Left.  Those tactics worked once, it won't continue to work.  We must be reasonable and rise above these emotions, we will never win with emotional pleas.  Sorry, just my .02

Cheating on the most sacred thing we have is NOT an "emotion" Our last election was stolen from Trump. Watch 2000 mules, ..........without voter ID there are ZERO fair elections and it needs to be fixed NOW. When you have our citizens thinking that their vote doesn't count and every illegal and dead person can vote when the races are soo close it casts doubt in the most sacred ingredient to democracy....... It makes me want to puke!

#1 is to restore faith to the system and have our people believe voting is legit!....without this CAOS will continue no matter who is in power. This country MUST be united otherwise the future is grim. My 2 cents

I don't disagree with you, and I have seen 2000 mules.  My point, continue this narrative and the middle will vote left.  This narrative is pushed by the Right.  Politicians ( both sides) will never agree to anything that doesn't help them personally.  We need Term limits, voter ID's, and also take away their ability to funnel money to themself but let me know when any politician will vote for these things.  On the campaign trail, it is just empty promises.  

FYI, there is cheating on both sides, always has been.  Doesn't make it right, but it is reality.
