Nice Jason, I have a brand new winch you can have for it. I’ll bring it out with me next time.

Seems like a great idea then. Thanks for the explanation.in the past I have had trailers with angle iron or rods for the ramps, and when they get bent up, then it makes it hard to replace, cut weld ect, figured if they ever got bent or messed up from the ramps, i can just remove the rods and put new ones in,
They had 15'' on first, later i got the 16'' rim with a Amazon Van style Commercial TireNice Build Jason - great work!
I like the Aluminum ramps - well my back does anyway
I prefer a lower trailer with fenders myself too. Of all the one's I owned, they are by far the easiest - anything with a lower CG is always more stable IMO and its less steep and shorter ramps needed when doing lower normal cars. I could never get a Corvette, Cobra, or other low cars on a deckover unless the ramps were 10ft long or I used a lot 2x4's "jerry-rigged" it would almost always nearly take off the oil pan.
I only winch everything on and always backward (if its a sand car) just for weigh balance, winching over fenders is no problem with a sand car - we all have big tires they roll right over (even with a China Freight winch). When I do regular cars they fit between the fenders so its no issue.
What size wheel/tire combo did you go with?
