What is the Torque on a  8" Stage 3 KEP pressure plate and the flywheel bolts?  Any loctite required?  Motor is a 2.5 Subi and trans MD4E.

Could be wrong, going on 4th season but I did mine at 55lbs for flywheel and 25-30lbs for pressure plate.

Both torqued down in a star pattern.

I spoke with kenndy recently and for the Pressure plate bolts it will depend on which ones you have.

10.9 Bolts=27 lbs

8.8 Bolts=18 lbs

For the clutch we recommend 25 ft lb for the 8.8 grade bolts or 30 ft lb for the 10.9 bolts.

The flywheel should be torque to 60 ft lb.  As long as you tighten the bolts immediately then use lock tight but if you do not tighter right away it will give you a false torque reading.  So normally we do not recommend it.

Thank you sir!!!!  I appreciate the assistance!!

Just like always, John is the Man.  He answers all of my questions with no complaint. (I called and had a couple other questions)

And, do you wipe a bogger on it, use locktite (which color) or nothing???

I already dropped the motor in.  Bit if it stays cool, I will take the 12 for a spin.
