Title lien problems

The intervals are typically longer because they hold more.  My DMAX holds 3 gallons.
How long do you go before change? I remember hearing about Lucas oil changes being some ridiculous interval after analysis.

My usage is atypical.  I don't drive my stuff enough to go by mileage.  Just a few thousand miles total a year divided over several vehicles.  Usually just get drained annually.

Sounds like the same plan as my other toys that get little use.  So what degrades the oil if they don’t get much use you suppose? I’d guess oil interaction with the metal in the motor.

Contamination.  Excessive colds starts with little run time followed to burn it off.  Conversation for a different thread though...

My oil changes go from a day to a year depending on the usage

Well, if they didn’t change the oil (and my suspicions a to why it took 3:27 while I waited, to do an oil change with an appointment and not even put the truck back together at 6:27PM when I got it back is that the mechanic got the slip, started and went home for the night) then my first oil change was at 10,000 miles and 2,500 of which was towing.

And…. I took the truck in Friday for a recall to have the software updated on the DEF system, why they didn’t do that in the 3-1/2 hrs they had it for an oil change I have no idea

yesterday the check engine lite came on and i got a message from onstar saying I needed my emissions system fixed… at 23,000 miles.

Those morons at riverside Chevrolet could fvck up a wet dream.

I think I’m going to buy a ford

I think all trucks have their problems but I will say after buying my first ford in 2014 and having since purchasing 2 more trucks I dont think I will go back to another brand unless something drastic changes.

I went looking at fords yesterday…. Because my truck is back in the shop again…. And I might have bought one if there were any.  You can get the 150’s but there are no diesels ok a few but no 4X4 and absolutely nothing without a miniature bed.  It’s so bad that I got an enterprise rental truck yesterday and it still has the auction numbers on the windshield.  I should take a photo.

Now that I have learned how to get around town in it, I am starting to love my long bed… except…

It’s in the shop again.  Apparently the particulate filter died $3k at the dealer, they are covering it for me but said it’s a 1-2 day  job.  I don’t understand that.  Isn’t it just six bolts on two flanges or cut cut weld weld?

Not sure what those grease pencil markings are, audition? Impound lot? But the truck has about 40K on it and it’s has been ridden hard and put away wet.  The rental companies are desperate for inventory.

Damn!!! glad its covered and yeah depending on the dealer the alotment is low- my friends lucked out they went to a dealer here in az and were going to look for a truck for their daughter to tow her toy hauler (had to be lariat black on black on black) and as they pulled up to look at the truck an auto transporter pulled in and had two f450 platinums on the trailer 1 vin number apart- they ended up walking out with 3 trucks that day cause the dealer had them instock and the 450s came in cheaper then the 350s cause alot of people still dont know about the commercial plates and stuff....

the chevy dealer I buy parts from for my automotive repair business offered 10k more then I paid for my truck and it has 44k miles on it- im trying not to give in and order a new superduty again.....

About a year ago I purchased a new 2500 Z71 diesel from a Chevy dealership in riverside.  A few months ago, when I sold my banshee, I noticed that I didn’t have the title to that truck. After some investigation I found that the dealership filed a lien in the name of the my credit union for some unexplained reason.  I contacted the credit union and they know nothing about it.... mostly because I paid cash for the truck.  I contacted the dealership several times and they just DGAF so what the hell can I do?
I bought a quad that had no title. Found out it had a lien against it when trying to get it titled. The credit union with the lien had no record of it. In and Out Registration Services in Lake Elsinore was able to help out by doing a lien sale. Maybe that won't work out so well for a car, but if it doesn't they can probably point you in the right direction.

Well, I got the truck back and last nite I drove it all the way to Parker AZ and it didn’t break down, not even once.  Riverside Chevrolet is stepping up their game!!!

as far as going to one of these DMV escort companies. (Yes, escort, you are still getting Effed but they apply lube) I shouldn’t have go through that.  I gave riverside Chevrolet the agreed to amount of money but they did not hold up their end of the bargain.
