Thousands of GM trucks and SUVs recalled over a familiar transmission issue

Bruhhhh!!!

I know. I've been looking at upgrading my 27yr old GMC Sierra to one of those newer shinier AT4 but the research has really had me 2nd guessing my decision. The 6.2L is a ticking time bomb as well. I was shocked to read the recall on a Carfax on one that I liked and read that "rear wheels may lock up while driving" and it just made me laugh. How bad do I really want it? LOL 😂 I want it bad! I know no other truck.
 
Recall seems to be limited to 2022 model years but my 2023 trans failed at 29k miles. Same issues with the valve bodies

Just bought this with the 5.3. Really like it.

Seeing every new truck has a major issue of some kind I’ll stick to my 04 2500hd 6.0/4l80 combo.
