I know you say the oil level is close to the crank, but what do you think the oil level is when the engine is at full-tilt with the pump shoving oil everywhere but the pan?

What's a good AN hose to use on the suction side of a dry sump?

When the oil gets hot, its like water, so you can imagine like a water bottle half way filled then turn it upwards and watch the water move around,  Ther is a vid on youtube, someone heats up oil in a clear container and puts it into the car and drives around, to show what the oil is doing, 

What's a good AN hose to use on the suction side of a dry sump?

Any longer than 3 feet most companies want a AN16 used,  for pickup, i used the black braided Fragola, like the water lines, 

for the 10an with no pressure i did the push-lock from Eaton/aroquip
