Is this whole matter, and all the other eff'd up crap going on intentional agitation with the intent to stir up unrest? 

I have been thinking this is possible for a while, but what is the end game if it is? How would something like this play out?

I think we are in for an eventful dark period coming very soon. There is just too much bizarre stuff happening in such a short time.

I was a union member for 41 yrs. Most of my peers were avid hunters and shooters. They would always bitch about how much taxes they paid. Yet they would consistently vote for the party that wants to take away their guns and tax the hell out of them. Total insanity!

Both sides will tax the hell out of you. The Trump tax cuts didn’t do anything for me. I ended up paying more because I had less to write off. Hazards of a w2 middle class worker.

I agree to a certain level. The SALT exclusion did offset the tax cuts and that had various impact depending on where you live. High tax localities, usually Dem run metro area's, got hit hard when they no longer had the SALT write offs. But area's with lower taxes were not impacted nearly as much.

It's the local level taxes that can nickle and dime you to death. Fortunately I live in a small rural town and local taxes are very low, which is I considered when I moved here.

Its not just that... For folks like me that dont have kids sucking my bank account dry, Trumps tax "cuts" (which for people are only temporary and begin to expire this year, where businesses still get at least 5 more years, if not more before they expire) made my taxes go up! The only deduction I get now is for my mortgage. I lost at least 3K worth of local taxes I could have claimed, along with a long list of business related costs I could claim. All gone, thanks to Trump and a republican congress that says they support middle America folks trying to make a living... Now Im not "poor", but Im not a Roadrunner Estates level guy either, and I got hosed by that tax cut, while that same congress took on massive new debts to fund that tax cut for BIG companies, not the small folks who could have used the help, and would make sure it stayed in the pockets of local folks. They cut Forbes 500 taxes, which is great for the stock market, and the 1%. In no way was that the republican party that I had been a lifelong member of, which is why they wont get my support anymore.

Can you point out those tax cuts? They didn't happen that I can find. Lots of people NOT in NY and CA, did much better after the cuts... so did my son in law.... the 178k and up people, pay for it... as it's always been.

This guy has been investigated for the last 10 years and impeached twice.... Yet he still roams free.

The other things he's being investigated for are not a secret. 

I hope you can at least admit this is a witch hunt.

Its a rework of the income brackets. Where I used to be in a 28% bracket, now its 32%. If they had left the bracket alone, Id be paying 24%... Add to that the cut in the itemized deductions, and I got screwed, as I have no kids to give me a credit. The only thing I can "legally" do to offset my new taxes is to max my deferred deductions to attempt to lower my income enough to get back into the 24% bracket. Its to the point where I turn down extra work just to make sure I don't have to cut a check on the 15th. 

 
I just want to say good luck to President Trump.  I hope his team of lawyers can figure out how to defend him from these ridiculous charges.  Bragg should be recalled and indicted for freeing so many real criminals.

 
I highly doubt this will ever go to trial.  I read that Alvin and his chipmunks want to tie president Trump up during the Republican primaries.  

There is no amount of voir dire that would find 12 people willing to convict.  

This is a political stunt, pure and simple

Yeah, once I read the actual filing,  I was pretty underwhelmed. Probably shouldn't have been brought.

That being said, it is true that his Campaign Manager, Deputy Campaign Manager, National Security Advisor, attorney, corporate person, foundation, finance guy and several others in his orbit have all been found guilty in courts of law, pardons not withstanding.

The Gist: He's finally been charged with one crime. More serious charges are likely(?) to follow. It's really pretty straightforward. Crimes often lead to indictments.

Also, he uses outrage to raise money from suckers.
