Bring $50K and take it away... I just ordered another $700 in parts today... my total bill to date is $56kJoe you need to hurry this thing up so you can figure out a price, I'm ready to come get it
Lol
Dude that thing is looking sweet
I've already missed the season, I need another $2k in parts plus what I spent today before shell be ready. On the brighter side, I priced out a brand new one and it was $140k so I'm still ahead(at least that's what I keep telling myself)
If I had 50 to blow, I think I would. Love how that thing is turning out.Bring $50K and take it away... I just ordered another $700 in parts today... my total bill to date is $56k
Why does it look like there are lines running off the bottom of the headers? For cooling? Mind you I know nothing about boats.Well, FACK Eddie Marine... super disappointed, had to send the starter back and am sill on the hunt for a new one. Did get the motor off the stand and get a little more assembly done though. after struggling with incorrect/too short of hardware she should be ready to set in this weekend. Have a proper scoop tray mount on order as well as the plug for the front for when it's stored.

Yes, those are water inlet lines. The headers are sleeved and water runs between the 2 tubes to keep them cool. After running full out you can put your hand on the header and it will only be warm to the touch. Why does it look like there are lines running off the bottom of the headers? For cooling? They're stainless and the headers are double tube stainless so they shouldn't corrode. The cast manifold and standard jacketed headers do occasionally get pin holes in the outer tubes or outer sleeve. I spent the extra coin to find ones that shouldn'tThat’s awesome, do they corrode through after a few years or does it drain out completely when the engine stops?
