The GM52 Hustler clone conversion

Serious skills there, car is looking awesome. Devil is in the details, don’t rush it.
Good luck on the final assembly.

The dunes and I are waiting to see this beautiful beast out here.

I believe in my Heart it will all be worth it when you finally get it out in the sand. You deserve the very best and that looks like exactly what you are getting

Getting closer. Should be up and running tomorrow. John and his team have been at it and it's close.

Engine harness built. Installed and close to adding fuel.

Hickup on my part. I tossed the S4 gear indicator harness. They need that to connect to the new AEM dash. Luckily Kartek was able to sell me just the extension harness. This is showing up today.

Adding another CAN bus so we can bring in more info and monitor other things like gear temp, fuel temp, ambient air temp etc.

Few Picts, more to come.

What’s cool about the can buss expansion module is the main harness is then only for the engine. Without the expander the main harness becomes even more complicated. And overly big. And while removing the engine the other module and harness stay intact. I’m going to add one of those to my car too. I have some sensors I have never hooked up before cause I would have to open up my current harness. I’m tracking some weird stuff like air temp pre intercooler. Air pressure pre intercooler. Fuel temp, ethanol content, water pressure for blown head gasket and ambient air temp.

It's alive. Pretty stoked on the capability of the AEM. John and his team have done a great job getting all this wired up, sensors installed and AEM system communicating as it should.

Plans to pick up the car tomorrow once the final tuning and calibrations are done.

Turn up the volume.

Enjoy.

645 Hp average on 5 pulls at 13 lbs boost.

Tried a 15lb spring and it pulled 687hp.

Feel pretty safe at 13 lbs so that's where shes staying.

650 was my targeted HP for this engine.

I can't wait to put the skinny pedal to work.
