Alright, I have zero skin in this fight, but I have "friends" that are very divided on this, some love one and not the other. For myself, I might eat at one every two years, never a "go to" for me. And when I do it is all about convenience, I really have no idea on the differences. I do know, when I do go there I plan accordingly and make sure there is a shitter near by in an hour...haha

Fill me in on the details, I truly have no idea why one over the other..........

Like you, rarely go to either. Taco Bell once every couple of years, can't remember the last time I went to Del Taco, not one close enough to me for the convenience.

I'll just drop this here.
The term "taco filling scam" likely refers to two separate issues:
a 2011 lawsuit against Taco Bell over its beef filling containing only 36% meat, and more recent, different lawsuits about the amount of filling in menu items not matching advertisements.

When I moved out at 18 (Summer after I graduated HS) Taco Bell kept me alive.

Literally the only thing I like from them anymore is the Mexican Pizza, Bean n Cheese Burrito and Supreme Taco.

Del Taco was not close to my area, but they are over all better. Same simple "Mexican" fast food, but better ingredients, still fair prices and KRINKLE KUT FRIES!

Not to mention the OG Location near Dumont.

Yo Queiro Del Taco.

I like the Taco Bell sauce that I buy in the grocery store. Goes well with breakfast.

My Del taco in Woodcrest never disappoints. Privately owned and the pride their staff has shows.

Worst Del taco I’ve ever been to hands down was in Mecca on my way to Glamis. Their dining room looked like the inside of a restroom at an Alberto’s that’s near a nightclub at 2AM 🤢

I live in the same area…. So bummed the del taco at Van Buren and Wood closed. It was a staple when running the kids around to sports…. I know, I know…. It’s not good fuel for their bodies when getting g ready to play sports but I was raised on del taco tuesdays and would eat more tacos than I care to admit and still played well enough to put me through college. So it must be okay

"Yum Brands" is a spinoff of Pepsi.
They bought fast food companies to install Pepsi in the outlets.
