Switch Pro

I didn’t wire anything critical to the switch pro. So aside from lights I should still be able to move.

Carry a spare Switch Pro?

They are plug/play.
I was one of the first dealers and bata tested the 7 series, the 8100 was the first we put in a sand car 10 years ago, sold about 10 of them and not one has came back,  the 9100 is way better and i have not had one go out,

Like i said in the above post, you can piggy back them into your existing rocker switch, to so if it does go out, you can use the manual switch.  knock on wood, so far everyone we sold has had no issues.

That is good to hear, but I have less than 0 competency when it comes to electrical.

So, spare switch pro is safe for me.  LOL

Or I pay someone to do what you said.

Wanted to dig this topic back up, lots of good info.

Im going to be re wiring my car soon and am debating on going with switch pros or something similar. My buddy just recently had his switch pros in his raptor go dead and that got me thinking about what if that were to happen out in the dunes. Really made me double think going that route. Anyone else ever have issues recently?
I carry 20' of 10g wire with a ring terminal and fuse holder on one and and a bunch of butt connectors and crimpers to splice in on the other end.  If you need to bypass the Switch Pro for something critical like the ignition, this would be your solution.

And, now that I think about it, I need to put a switch in that wire...

Physical switch is also nice because you can shut it off fumbling around in a panic because the throttle stuck or something.
I used a switch pros in my last car and it is very clean, simple and I really enjoy it.  Going to do it again on the new car.  That being said,  on the dash easily within reach is one single switch that will cut power to the computer and kill the engine.
