Super C's School Me

After seeing @Squatcher new rig. It really makes me want to consider going to a class a.
I hear you. I was dead set on another Super C but after doing a bunch or research and thinking, I'm likely headed Class A. With a side radiator you get pretty decent access for maintenance and repairs. I love the underbelly storage and slide out trays in a Class A. And you get more features, options and available floor plans in Class A's.

Definitely upsides and downsides to both Super Cs, and As.  I've had both, and have the A right now.  The biggest downside to an A IMHO is the old saying "you arrive at the crash first."  Nothing but some glass between you and anything bad that might happen.  Also, generally if you want the wife to drive, she's going to feel way more comfortable in a truck-cab Super C than an A.  But, you lose way less living space to a cab in an A, and with the driver/passenger seat spun around really you don't lose any.

If you get a SuperC get it with 4WD - otherwise they are over priced and not worth it...they look cool too, but still not worth it if it's only 2wd.  I've had one before and easy to drive was the best part, but that 6+ feet used by the front clip is a killer.  7kish pounds is all I've ever wanted / needed to tow though, I might be missing other factors.

That was the reason my wife liked the Toterhome over the pushers. She didn't feel comfortable without the hood in front of her.

My biggest reason of the super c was having that cushion in the front vs just a front window. plus I wanted to be able to just go to a truck stop to do services to engine vs RV mechanic. My buddies that have class A they had mechanics in their bedrooms and there is just no need for people being inside my rig, unless I am there with them to party! My kids love the overhang bed in the front, it is just a great rig for us.
