Speed UTV

NIKAL I almost went to wildcat weekend this year. Still have my 2018 XX
If you have been in the past then you know what I mean by how well run and organized Richard Carter is who puts it together. If you have not been, I highly suggest you go next year or to another one of his WWW rides.

I really liked how they have several different routes planned and you get to pick what rides & destinations you want to do. So it spreads out & limits how many are on each one. There can be 5-6 guides leading 5-6 different groups on different planned routes and speeds. This makes it nice as the pace is faster because you’re not dealing with as much dust or as many mechanical issues and the group stays closer together and not spread out by miles. And if more then a dozen want to do a specific loop route they will have two guides run the same route but one goes clockwise, the other group counter clockwise. And this goes on for 3 days.

My buddy is selling his and it has pretty much every upgrade: new tranny, New axles, Tapp clutches, new ECU, only 28k.........zero bites

Ya anyone who still wanted one has got it. They could get whatever color they wanted. The drivetrain will have some catastrophic failure before 1000 miles unless you’re going to the store and back and even then they fail.

Drove past the dealership off the 91 this evening and the parking lot was full of them all under covers. I’m wondering how fast he shuts his doors???

I actually thought about that the first time I was toured around the facility. There is a bunch of trees along the wall that splits Speed from the residential houses. Most of the wall had some sort of vine on the Speed side which rodents love vine or ground cover. Plus there is a huge storm water drainage culvert on the property right between the showroom building and the service building, and just past the Speed property looked to be empty land, probably Caltrans. So there is lots of potential for rodents, or I was even thinking cats or coyotes to get into the vehicles to hunt or hide. My guess is it’s not an issue or we would be hearing customer complaint about rodent droppings or chewed up wiring. Plus Mercedes was there prior, so it’s not a new place.

That view from the 91 is only a partial view, there's a (west-side) parking lot full of Speed cars that sits below the freeway that you can only see if you drive into the Speed lot....crazy how many cars are sitting there....especially if all of the pre-orders have been delivered! 😲
