Spark plug issue on j35

Hey guys so my j35 keeps fouling spark plugs. I run the stock normal plugs that autozone calls out. Should i go one step colder? Motor is all stock
 
Fouled, as in oil/carbon or a dead plug? Have a pic of the plug ends? What plug?
J35's love the OEM plugs.
 
As stated above, you need to be using OEM NGK Laser Iridium plugs (or better) on Hondas.

A "one range colder" plug should only be used on Hondas with higher compression above 10:1... or Boosted, which has not been mentioned.
 
colder will make the problem worse.

this is assuming there isn't an underlying problem, overly rich mixture, weak ignition system, excessive blow by (worn out engine).....stuff like that and the plugs fouling are just a symptom of a greater issue.
 
Hey guys so yes fouled as in burning too rich. I checked compression to make sure that wasnt the issue and it came back good. I checked the timing belt and noticed it was off by one tooth so fixed that and replaced belt while I was at it. I am using the plugs they recomend at oreilly which are NGK. I will drive the car tomorrow to see if the issue was fixed
