Solar System questions

After today if you want solar, you better do it now. NEM 3 is going to kill solar without batteries. :(

A couple of things on this and I will say this again, don't go with SunRun, when something breaks, they will take months to help you.........trust me on this, I had a SunRun system, also google Sunrun and look at all the lawsuits and reviews.  Virtually every roofer does solar now.

My first system (old house) was a PPA.  I wouldn't do this either, you will not save any money, you are just transferring your electric bill from SCE to Them (they become your power provider for the most part).  But in the end, you will still have an SCE bill due to you having to be connected to the system.  Leases and PPA solar systems also put a handcuff on you when you go to sell the house, many potential buyers don't want to assume these programs (I had many buyers walk and not purchase the house because of the solar).  You will not save any money on a PPA system, trust me.

You are better off in every way on trying to figure out how to purchase the system, you will have it paid off in a few years versus paying for something for 20 years and you don't own.

Now they are going to require battery systems.... more stuff we can't recycle....I really had liberals... life would be so much easier better if we could just send them all to Canada.

 
Really leaning towards Mohr Power price is good and several co workers have it and happy. Although none have had to call Customer Service for problems. 
 

Spoke to someone from Burgeson’s and answered my questions and quickly gave me product / price sheet. Just don’t know anyone that has them.

I always check with  CSLB for license age and additional DBA's. I looked and didn't see anything out of line. We would love to take care of you also.

Don't wait, NEM 3 will hurt.

I dont remember, anything else? I'm busy.

Did they schedule the time with you to change your meter? they often do it when nobodys home.

What do you need to know? We have a new meter, it was changed a year ago. Are we done? I'm closing the door.

Sir, did I do something to you? i'm just here to talk to residents about Net Metering and the benif.....

Me too.  I had a guy tell me "Sir, Im not here to sell you anything" then try to sell me something.  When I tried to be polite & tell him I was not interested, he got Sheety with me.  REALLY................. your gonna get sheety with me @ my front door?  Hang tight, I will be right back.

 
That's the new sales tactic, try making me feel bad that I insulted you or hurt yore feelings when I was polite and direct in my conversation.

Forgot I had started this post. 
 

Ended up going with Mohr Power. It was easy and quick. They answered all my questions and the install done in 2 days. What took a long time was the bank since I got it financed. Two different people from the bank asking the same questions. I guess their communication was non existent. 
 

so far happy. Had some good rain and nothing leaked.
