Accuweather now makes assessments on impact to the economy and damage?? Let alone in a couple of hours!!

So slightly off topic...

Wtf is with dipsheets driving down the highway with their hazard lights flashing???  If your in such a condition that requires your hazards on...  get the ph.u.ck off of the freeway.

Phone has been buzzing all morning.  If it weren't for fire notifications, I'd turn it all the fack off...

Jesus.  It's raining outside.  Make it stop.

Weather has been politicized and weaponized.
RECORD STORM!  RECORD RAINFALL! RECORD HIGH!

We've been cataloguing weather for like 100 years, and half of that time it's been barely accurate.  STFU.

More rain in 3 days then we normally get in 5 months....  should be a GREAT fire season with all the fuel gonna sprout up.

Can some of this go to Kingman please.

Don't worry, they'll call every airplane in the state to put out a  springtime fire...

So the following year's Oct Santa Ana fire has plenty of fuel to burn everyone's houses down.  Gets those pesky suburbanites and rural people out of their single family homes and into the city.

It feels like all the weather people are trying to change our memory's of what the weather was like.

I remember as a kid it being rain all the time during the winter. I couldn't stand being cooped up in the house.

Hell, just a few years back it was raining like a mofo... I was so backed up with work it was ridiculous because of it.

Yep.  This article sums it all up nicely.

Winter has always been a shitshow here, despite the lack of snow.

I love how it's called an atmospheric river now. We used to just call it rain..
So funny, been thinking the same thing - went from El Nino for 3 or 4 years, to the new term of Atmospheric river.

For the record,  this is my rain gauge.

The puddle is 10 feet, so we got a bit.  When it gets to 20 feet we got a lot, in 30 years I've never seen 30 feet.  Maybe we will get lucky this year...LOL

We will see if any is still there when I get home.
