I want to go with an 8rib system on my LS3 with an LSA supercharger. To fit the idler pulley the kit comes with an 5 3/8" p/s pulley vs. the 6 5/8" pulley that I have.

As I have not seen any sand motors with the smaller pulley I am a little concerned that this will be an issue. Any thoughts?

What sort of pump in son there?

Are the pulleys changeable?

That will turn your pump faster.

Pulleys are interchangeable.

I spoke to Jeff at Howe and he said... "I wouldn't do it" lol. So, anyone have experience on how fast a pump dies with a smaller pulley?

I went down in pump volume on howe steering pumps and didn't feel any difference. Haven't had any steering rack leaks since either.

You can send me a DM, we run the 5-3/8 power steering pulley with our billet bracket, not sure if it will work for you but can send a pic,
or modify the bracket in the Haas,

The new Howe pump is a little taller than the old style, I am now using the Jones Racing High Volume pumps that use the older style TC housing like the old how,
