Well that was short lived! The engine grenade on me. Rod gave out. Maybe I should have just went with a V8! Smh! Time to think about.  In the meantime it's for sale 21k! Until I find another engine.  This time one from Alper.

That sucks balls, and right at the start of the season.   Was it an older engine?  I mean, I had a 4.3 vortech in may old S10 High stepper, got 200K out of it and ran it all over the the dunes.  I was the “camp tow vehicle” for broken cars in the dunes.  I literally beat the crap out of that engine.  Hopefully you didn’t get mine LOLOLOL

I'm going to check one part in particular. It might have starved the engine for oil. I was told by swaptime - Mitch. He works on wire harnesses and he said he came across the same thing. It's the oil cooler block off plate.
