A shift in the economy where we all move up a couple notches financially. Post 2008 most sand car mfg went the way of the dinosaur and only the top tier manufacturers are still producing sand cars. Sand cars are like exotic super cars in a world full of production cars aka sxs’s 

I don’t know how many sand cars are even sold at the sand show these days. My guess is they are their to display the Pinnacle how far the sport has come and less for profit (at the SSSS) 

I would love to see more like everyone else on this board definitely makes me drool seeingthese works of art

Wish I could make it this year…. Would love to meet GD’ers in person for once. Long time Glamis family that had to hang it up years ago due to schedules with 4 active kids. Went from sand car to SXS due to the ability for day trips around home. Look forward to retirement when I can get back out there with the wife!

I'm bringing 2 sand cars that are for sale. So with Funco, Tatum and SCU there might be 10 cars there. That is 3 more than last year :lol:
