Sand Drag

Racing sand this weekend in welton arizona
Racing asphalt in phoenix Jan 24-25th

back to welton az feb 20-22 for sand
And to Las Vegas feb 27-29th for asphalt

Remember the douche nozzle that posted about how his (SxS or Jeep, I can't remember now), beat a full blow sand rail at the sand drags??

And then it turned out...

It was a bracket race??? :ROFLMAO:

2.73 second pass, lifted at 2.49, lost coil number 1 at 1.6 seconds

That had a 3.81g load at the shift to 2nd

It’s gonna get up to speed next race
You can hear when you lose the coil. What kind of coils and ignition system do you use?

Did the coil fail, or plug wire/circuitry issue?
Primary wire/crimp failure. Install issue, stupid issue. Did not have proper tools at track this time
Not a fueltech issue, did have spare coils with us, we have spares for almost everything

Just curious what tranny you have in your car. How much does the car weigh and what size cv joint do you use?

Lenco trans, quick change rear end from b and j engineering, hollow aluminum axle (no cv joints)

Car weighs about 1050 wet without driver, have not weighed it since we converted from nitro to straight alcohol with efi

Thanks, it was fun beating up on some v8’s with a flat 4 engine. This was not a plan to race top alcohol, we just had nobody to race so we went up a class. We ran 2.64,2.66,2.69 and a couple of other failed passes. First pass I wasn’t on
2 step long enough, 1 pass we had something go through the carbon body and break the crank trigger, last pass we lost a Wiggins clamp, improvised with hose clamps and tape and it didn’t even make it through staging causing me to lose focus and red light.

I don’t have the videos as of yet
