I'm sure many of you as well as me have Safeco as the insurance carrier on your sand toy. With limited insurance companies writing these type of policies, I am a bit concerned about this change of hands.

Anyone have Liberty Mutual as a carrier for their offroad toys?

Liberty Mutual has owned Safeco since 2008. I doubt much will change other than the name.
 
Like mentioned above, liberty mutual owned Safeco. They are rebranding under the liberty mutual name... but in CA there have been a lot of non-renewals for Safeco policy holders.
 
CA is a F'd up state when it comes to insurance...sometimes they make you close other companies when you buy them, sometimes they make you run them separate and prevent you from combining them.... I doubt much will change with Liberty.

Safeco did not renew the policies I had on my LJ and TBSS that had added value. Had to move to Hartford.
 
I’ve had Liberty Mutual for quite a few years and last summer they changed my auto insurance policy to Safeco, nothing changed other than the name…. Now they are changing me back to Liberty Mutual 😂 so dumb!
They have the best rates for my scenario with homeowners and auto. That being said, we have 3 cars and 4 drivers (2 being teen males) and we pay $950 a month for auto with all of us perfect driving records…. Crazy! So we are at 1300 a month for home and /auto. I guess with the amount a lot of people’s insurance rates have gone up I shouldn’t complain. It’s just a far cry from when our auto was $325 a month with 2 drivers and 3 cars a few short years ago.
 
I have Safeco/ Liberty Mutual and have for years. Got a notice a few weeks ago my buggy policy has been canceled out of the blue.

Sucks to hear. Seems like Foremost is a maybe then pray State Farm will write it. Ca I assume?
 
I struggled with 20th century changing to 21st century, i.e. 25 years ago............changing names if hard on people
