Whoopsie.

Short and skinny (for those that didn't already know):

Obama ordered Russiagate in his final weeks to effectively hamstring Trump's first months in office. He ended up succeeding in screwing over most of the first term.

From Matt Tiabbi:

" The CIA report is focused mainly on the publication of the infamous Intelligence Community Assessment of January 6th, 2017, which concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought “to undermine public faith in the US democratic process,"

Amusingly, it was Barrack Obama, Comey and Clapper who sought to actually undermine the US democratic process...

"The memo was written on the orders of CIA Director John Ratcliffe, a Trump loyalist who spoke out against the Russia investigation as a member of Congress. It finds fault with a 2017 intelligence assessment that concluded the Russian government, at the direction of President Vladimir Putin, waged a covert influence campaign to help Trump win.

It does not address that multiple investigations since then, including a report from the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee in 2020, reached the same conclusion about Russia’s influence and motives.

The eight-page document is part of an ongoing effort by Trump and close allies who now lead key government agencies to revisit the history of the long-concluded Russia investigation, which resulted in criminal indictments and shadowed most of his first term but also produced unresolved grievances and contributed to the Republican president’s deep-rooted suspicions of the intelligence community."

And yet, CNN still has this page up:

And Politico this one:

And a thousand other articles that haven't been updated or removed since they're obviously false.

5 Reason NOTHING ever happens

Shrinking media resources: Not enough investigative staff to really get to the bottom of things, regurgitation happens
Shift in news cycles: We are the Social Media 10 second generation, Ding Fries are done!
Public fatigue: See above and shit gets repetitive, plus see MACs comment - DO SOMETHING, vs Nothing
Strategic communication: Bad Actors downplay the situation and we move on, Ding Fries are done!
Disinformation campaigns: Bad Actors feed us shit and we say YUM!

Easier to have a problem and not solve it.

Honestly before Covid I was one of those that believed our Government while it may have a few bad actors was for the most part in tact and not corrupt.. I have no idea why I felt that way being that I have a real good grasp on shit our government has done to its own citizens all throughout our short history.. I just always kinda felt it was overall good.

Covid cured me of that thought process.
Epstein pretty much nailed the thoughts into my brain that there are the elites and there is the rest of us.. and that's it.

I don't want to go on a rant here, but.
In my 86 years, I worked for city, county, federal and they are all
looking for $$$$$ without responsibility.
While I was with the L. A. County, (Only 20 years) they wasted
hundreds of millions of federal money in the form of "Grants".
The feds were "Lobbied" and monies were carved out for "Projects".
Yes, the approval was dependent on funding the re-election campaigns.
(Referred to as money laundering)
The largest whiners now are the individuals sucking the federal teat.
And yes, "the man in black" is real. I refuse to discus this 1960s episode on
a public forum, but over beer at Veterans day in Glamis I might.
JFK was shot. Why?
RFK was shot. Why?
Reagan was shot. Why?
Nixon resigned. Try to figure out why.
LBJ was in Dallas, but denied it. Why?
Who were trying to expose the three letter outfits?
All the above?
I'm out of beer.
ta ta for now.
