Rest in Peace buddy, you can sit back now and watch your beautiful family blossom.
Jason stopped going to Dumont in 2015, life, kids, all the normal things that happened took precedent as they can...his love for the dunes however never ended, it simply became that sweet memory from his past.
I met this character here on GD.COM, he was Richard Cheese then and one of the Politically Incorrect deviants that loved to talk about the shitty CA Politics we all deal with...we became friends quickly. He was a very active member of DDR.COM Dumont Dune Riders, Dumont was his place..
We alway met up when possible, whether Jake his son had football camp in Southern CA, or my family traveled towards or through Bakersfield....Football games, Wrestling matches, hockey games, even camping trips to Yosemite...we would meet, have dinner, etc. We had a tradition of going to Dodgers games for father's day, just us guys. A trip to Phillipes or Tepeyac was always our first stop.
His health took a bad turn young, he had early onset Alzhiemers and it forced him to even retire early from being a Math teacher, it was a very hard time. More recently he was in a care facility, his memory now gone. Please take care of your own health, various forms of dementia is an epidemic for our generation and it only seems to be getting worse
He passed early yesterday July 17th. I'm only happy that he is at peace, I'm sad for his family but they can start living life as well. Caring for a loved one
dependant on you is a tough road, its also life changing in beautiful ways...and easy life is never appreciated they say...how true.
If you knew or remember Jason aka Richard Cheese..one of gd.com OG members...raise a beer, take a shot or simply ride a quad in his name this season.

We will ride again bro, until then...
